I love the commenters who come out of the woodwork every single time to defend the "ice charge"
Yes, you are right, theoretically there is an extra splash of shitty vodka in a neat/rocks Grey Goose than in a mixed drink made with a Grey Goose but here are a few things to consider:
- Cash registers, in general, are COMPUTERS with LIMITLESS ABILITIES and therefore it’s really easy to just program in 2 price points if you feel so strongly that <.5 of an oz is worth the drama and end the complaining
- A whole bottle of Grey Goose costs ~$28, not $380, which is what this price structure is telling me? Like, I get mark-ups and all that but seriously eat the $3? At the $12 price point, you are still making a profit of $276 per bottle. It’s not like that extra money is going to, say, pay the bartender’s health insurance or something, haha, you know what I’m saying? (I’m saying that we live in America so we don’t pay bartenders)
- Stop defending your stupid bourgeoisie habit of going to LPR, it is a terrible place generally!
EDIT: I HAVE ALREADY BEEN IM’D THAT THE RECEIPT IS FOR GLENLIVET, I KNOW THIS, I KNOW HOW TO READ, BUT I LIKE USING GREY GOOSE AS AN EXAMPLE BECAUSE I REALLY HATE GREY GOOSE. FOR THE RECORD, GLENLIVET IS LESS EXPENSIVE PER BOTTLE THAN GREY GOOSE. THEMOREYOUKNOW.JPG
